I went to a awesome foreclosure prevention workshop but few homeowners showed

This workshop was presented by the Clayton County Foreclosure Resource Center and the host of the event was D&E, a financial & Education Institute, Inc. This workshop was very informative and hand counselors on hand to start the process of helping homeowners save there homes. The best part about the service is that it is absolutely free and they are HUD approved counselors. I was out done when I saw only 5 homeowners show up. The statistics for this area shows that homes are being foreclosed on faster than any other county in surrounding metro Atlanta area. This should have been a packed house and it was not. I am asking myself do homeowners want help or will they prefer to  pay someone to do work for them that they can get for free. This company holds workshops every Thursday and I am going to go today to see how many homeowners show up for assistance. I want to know, why homeowners are not showing up to these workshops.
