The race has started. Make sure your mortgage is included in this plan.

The Homeowner Affordability & Stabilization Plan is in full swing. It is time to get your mortgages modified by your lender. Homeowners you want to first contact your lender and ask where you need to send your financial work sheet. If you need a financial work sheet most lenders have one available on their website. Make sure you have all your information ready. If you do not know what you need here is the list

Recent paystubs (you must have a job)

Tax Return information

Loan Documentation (second mortgage information as well)

Get all your liabilities payment and balance information such as car notes, student loans, credit cards etc.

Send all this information to your lender. Make your case.

If you are having trouble getting in contact with your lender, you can contact a HUD certified counselor. Don’t know a HUD certified counselor, go to www.hud.gov and they can direct you to the nearest HUD certified counselor in your area.

Take full advantage of this opportunity and stay in contact with the representative that’s over your file.

Remember you are not the only one who needs help so be patient but stay informed about your case. While you’re waiting on your results, know your mortgage options provided by askmeme.com

Good Luck!
